Lake Effect Brass sells once-fired cartridge cases, fully processed brass, reloading components, reloading equipment, and related services.
Reloading ammunition involves inherent risks. Improper reloading practices can result in serious injury, death, and property damage.
By purchasing products from Lake Effect Brass, you acknowledge and accept all responsibility for the inspection, preparation, loading, and use of any brass, components, or equipment purchased from us.
Customers must always perform their own final inspection and follow safe reloading practices, including the use of reputable published load data and manufacturer instructions.
Lake Effect Brass is not responsible for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from the use or misuse of any products sold.
3. Product Condition
Unless otherwise stated, brass products are sold as once-fired or processed range brass and may contain normal cosmetic imperfections such as tarnish, dents, scratches, and mixed headstamps.
Processed brass is cleaned and prepared using commercial-grade equipment; however, customers are solely responsible for performing their own final inspection before use.
4. Warranty Disclaimer and Manufacturer Warranties
No Warranty from Lake Effect Brass
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Lake Effect Brass does not provide any independent warranty on products sold through our Website. All products are sold “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without any express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Manufacturer Warranties
Certain new products, including reloading presses, dies, tools, tumblers, scales, and other supplies, may be covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. Any such warranty is provided solely by the manufacturer and not by Lake Effect Brass.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the manufacturer’s warranty terms and contacting the manufacturer directly for warranty claims, repairs, replacements, or service.
Warranty Assistance
Upon request, Lake Effect Brass will make reasonable efforts to provide proof of purchase and manufacturer contact information to assist with warranty claims; however, we are not responsible for the outcome of any warranty claim.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lake Effect Brass and its owners, including Moe and Doc, shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the purchase, possession, loading, or use of any products or services sold through this Website.
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.

9. Brass Processing Services
Customers who send brass to Lake Effect Brass for cleaning or processing retain ownership of their brass unless otherwise agreed in writing.
While we exercise reasonable care, our liability for loss or damage to customer-owned brass is limited to the amount paid for the processing service.
